Tours to the summit
The normal route to the Fründenhorn runs over the northwest ridge. From the Fründenhütte you go over the Fründen Glacier to the northwest ridge, which turns into a firn flank. Over this flank, at the end just a firn ridge, you reach the summit ( WS + ).
An impressive rock climbing route equipped with standing and intermediate safety devices leads over the southwest ridge. The ridge starts from the Fründenjoch, which can be reached via the Fründen Glacier. It offers climbing difficulties up to IV, A0 .
