Émile Parzudaki was born as François Charles Emil Fauqueux. He was the son of Clarisse Moreuil and the furniture dealer François Napoléon Fauqueux (1806-1833). Both married on February 7, 1828 in Nointel. After the death of the father, the mother married the natural produce dealer Charles Parzudaki on August 19, 1837 . Émile added his name to his stepfather's surname by decree in 1858. In the course of the renaming, Emil became an Émile.

On December 15, 1855, Émile married Louise Emma Bonifay (1832-1894) in Paris . The daughters Louise Clarisse Emma , b. on September 9, 1858 and Jeanne Marie Emilie , b. on May 18, 1860.

Before his official renaming, he was known only as Émile Parzudaki among the scientists of his time . He called himself Émile Parzudaki when he published his first publication in 1856 . This was a catalog with a list of bird skins, which he had compiled according to the system of Charles Lucien Jules Laurent Bonaparte . How valuable the catalog was for science is also shown by the fact that Edmond de Selys-Longchamps wrote a review of it in 1857 and Bonaparte also published further comments.

Charles and Émile's natural produce shop was at 2 rue Bouloi and 37 rue de La Fontaine-St-Georges . At the end of his life he lived at 54 rue Ledru-Rollin in the 12th arrondissement of Paris.

To improve their exhibits, Charles and Émile secured support from artists such as Elie Maillard (1838–1887), who replicated the glass eyes of the bellows, or the sculptor Jules Dalou (1838–1902), who replaced the usual stuffing materials with clay. Émile published other catalogs. A catalog with hummingbirds was published in 1861 and in 1862 a catalog with birds from Mexico was published together with Auguste Sallé . Paolo Lanfossi reported in 1862 about another catalog of birds from Algeria ( Catlogo degli uccelli d'Algeria del Parzudaki ). Despite the publications, they didn't just sell bird hides in their natural produce trade. Exhibits of bird eggs, mussels, insects, scorpions, amphibians and mammals can still be found in numerous natural history museums around the world. The archive of the Reale Museo di fisica e storia naturale di Firenze contains , for example, B. a handwritten list of exotic reptiles entitled Elenco di rettili esotici ricevuti in baratto dal naturalista Emilio Parzudaki di Parigi, 29 November 1862 . His importance as a natural food dealer is also shown in the fact that he had many hides in his possession that were new to science or that were already extinct. He also sold parts of François Victor Masséna's parrot collection to the Natural History Museum in London in 1859 and 1860 . By 1867, Émile must have given up the natural produce trade.

The natural produce store was probably sold to Jérôme Louis Peter (c. 1819–1888) and his son Auguste Peter (1849–1899). In August 1874, after the death of their uncle Philippe Latour, he and Marie Joseph Emile Rogelin took over the management of his shoe factory. The production of the shoes was located in Liancourt and was managed by Parzudaki.

Parzudaki shot himself five bullets in the head with a revolver on Avenue Ledru-Rollin and died on the way to the hospital.
