Francesco Giovanni Brugnaro (born March 16, 1943 in San Donà di Piave ) is an Italian clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Archbishop of Camerino-San Severino Marche .

Life

The Archbishop of Milan , Carlo Maria Martini SJ , ordained him a priest on December 18, 1982 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on September 3, 2007 Archbishop of Camerino-San Severino Marche. The Pope personally donated him episcopal ordination on September 29th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Tarcisio Pietro Evasio Cardinal Bertone SDB , Cardinal Secretary of State and Cardinal Chamberlain , and Cardinal Marian Jaworski , Archbishop of Lviv . As a motto he chose Omnia possibilia credenti . The inauguration in the Archdiocese of Camerino-San Severino Marche took place on October 28, 2007.

On July 27, 2018, Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation.
