Francisco Antonio Nieto Súa

Francisco Antonio Nieto Súa (born September 17, 1948 in Panqueba ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of Engativá .

Life

The Archbishop of Bogotá and Military Vicar of Colombia , Cardinal Aníbal Muñoz Duque , ordained him a priest on November 30, 1973 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on October 22, 2008 titular bishop of Teglata in Numidia and auxiliary bishop in Bogotá. The Archbishop of Bogotá , Pedro Cardinal Rubiano Sáenz , donated him episcopal consecration on November 17th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Aldo Cavalli , Apostolic Nuncio in Colombia , and Héctor Luis Gutiérrez Pabón , Bishop of Engativá .

He was appointed bishop of San José del Guaviare on February 2, 2011, and was introduced to the office on March 11 of the same year.

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Engativá on June 26, 2015. The inauguration took place on July 27 of the same year.
