Nelson Jair Cardona Ramírez (born January 18, 1969 in Norcasia , Departamento de Caldas , Colombia ) is Bishop of San José del Guaviare .
Life
Nelson Jair Cardona Ramírez received of 12 December 1992 by the Bishop of La Dorada-Guaduas , Fabio Betancur Tirado , the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On May 7, 2016, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of San José del Guaviare. The bishop of La Dorada-Guaduas, Oscar Aníbal Salazar Gómez , gave him episcopal ordination on June 18 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Villavicencio , Óscar Urbina Ortega , and the Apostolic Nuncio in Colombia, Archbishop Ettore Balestrero . The inauguration took place on July 9, 2016.
