Oscar Aníbal Salazar Gómez

Oscar Aníbal Salazar Gómez (born September 21, 1942 in El Santuario ) is a Colombian clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic bishop of La Dorada-Guaduas .

Life

Oscar Aníbal Salazar Gómez was ordained a priest on November 19, 1966 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Voncariana and auxiliary bishop in Barranquilla on October 28, 1995 . He was ordained episcopate on December 2nd of the same year by the Bishop of Sonsón-Rionegro , Flavio Calle Zapata ; Co- consecrators were Félix María Torres Parra , Archbishop of Barranquilla, and Ignacio José Gómez Aristizábal , Archbishop of Santa Fe de Antioquia .

On June 5, 1999, he was appointed bishop of La Dorada-Guaduas. Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on January 13, 2019.
