The Roman Catholic Diocese of La Dorada-Guaduas ( lat. : Dioecesis Aureatensis-Guaduensis , span. : Diócesis de La Dorada-Guaduas ) is an in Colombia situated Roman Catholic diocese , based in La Dorada and Guaduas .

history

The diocese of La Dorada-Guaduas was established on March 29, 1984 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Quod iure Apostolica Sedes from cessions of territory from the Archdiocese of Manizales and the dioceses of Barrancabermeja and Facatativá . It was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Manizales as a suffragan .
