Francisco Capiral San Diego (born October 10, 1935 in Obando , † August 26, 2015 in San Juan ) was a Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of Pasig .

Life

Francisco Capiral San Diego was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Manila on April 5, 1958 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him on June 6, 1983 as coadjutor of the Vicar Apostolic of Palawan and titular bishop of Zica . The Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines , Archbishop Bruno Torpigliani , donated him his episcopal ordination on August 10 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Oscar V. Cruz , Archbishop of San Fernando , and Gregorio Espiga e Infante OAR , Vicar Apostolic of Palawan.

With the retirement of Gregorio Espiga e Infantes OAR on December 18, 1987, he succeeded him as Vicar Apostolic of Palawan. On July 12, 1995, he was appointed Bishop of San Pablo . On June 28, 2003, he was appointed Bishop of Pasig and on August 21 of the same year he was appointed to the office. On December 21, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related resignation.
