Francisco Escalante Molina (born January 29, 1965 in La Grita , Táchira , Venezuela ) is a Roman Catholic Archbishop and diplomat of the Holy See .

Life

Francisco Escalante Molina received on 26 August 1989, the sacrament of the priesthood for the Diocese of San Cristobal de Venezuela .

On 19 March 2016 it appointed Pope Francis to Titular Archbishop of Gratiana and ordered him to the apostolic nuncio in the Republic of Congo . On May 21, 2016, he was also appointed Apostolic Nuncio in Gabon . The Apostolic Nuncio in Venezuela, Archbishop Aldo Giordano , donated him episcopal ordination on May 28 of the same year . Co- consecrators were the Bishop of San Cristóbal de Venezuela, Mario del Valle Moronta Rodríguez , and José Trinidad Fernández Angulo , Auxiliary Bishop in Caracas .
