Francisco Mendoza de Leon

Francisco Mendoza de Leon (born June 11, 1947 in Parañaque City , Philippines ) is a Filipino clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Antipolo .

Life

Francisco Mendoza de Leon received on 28 June 1975 by the Archbishop of Manila , Jaime Sin , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On June 27, 2007 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Boseta and ordered him auxiliary bishop in Antipolo. The Archbishop of Manila, Gaudencio Cardinal Rosales , donated him episcopal ordination on September 1st of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Balanga , Socrates Buenaventura Villegas , and the Bishop of Antipolo, Gabriel Villaruz Reyes . Francisco Mendoza de Leon was also appointed Vicar General of the Diocese of Antipolo.

Pope Francis appointed him Coadjutor Bishop of Antipolo on November 21, 2015 .

With Gabriel Villaruz Reyes ' resignation on September 9, 2016, he succeeded him as Bishop of Antipolo.
