history
The French national team played their first game at the 1983 European Championship in Castel Giorgio, where they finished fourth.
In 2003, France took part in a World Cup for the first time and finished fourth. At the 2010 European Championship , the French national team reached the final for the first time.
France won the first title at the 2017 World Games in Poland . A year later, France also won the European Championship. Patrick Esume coached the national team for both titles .
