Franz Baum (politician)

Franz tree (* 6. May 1927 in Laupheim , † 4. September 2016 in Rot an der Rot ) was a Baden-Wuerttemberg politicians of CDU and members of the Parliament of Baden-Wuerttemberg .

education and profession

Franz Baum completed an agricultural apprenticeship after attending primary school. From 1960 he was the director of the St. Norbert youth education center in Rot an der Rot .

Political activity

Franz Baum was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg from May 17, 1972, the beginning of the 6th electoral term, until 1988 . In 1972 he received the direct mandate in what was then the constituency of Biberach. In 1976, 1980 and 1984 he was each elected via the second mandate of the Biberach constituency, which was newly tailored after the district reform in Baden-Württemberg in 1973 . The CDU received so many votes that it received both the direct mandate and the second mandate in this constituency. The owner of the direct mandate was District Administrator Wilfried Steuer , who had moved in in 1972 through the direct mandate of the Saulgau electoral district at the time .
