Franz Dworak

Franz Gustav Dworak (born June 4, 1902 in Brno , † March 30, 1979 in Vienna ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and President of the Federal Chamber of Commerce . From 1950 to 1962 he was a member of the National Council .

Life

Dworak attended middle school after elementary school. He subsequently learned the trade of a locksmith and passed the journeyman's examination in 1934 and the master craftsman examination in 1937. He then worked as a master locksmith and was later appointed to the commercial council. Politically, he was active as a chamber councilor, worked as the regional guild master of the Viennese locksmiths and became chairman of the trade section of the Chamber of Commerce for Vienna. Finally, Dworak also took over the office of President of the Federal Chamber of Commerce and represented the ÖVP in the National Council between November 8, 1950 and December 14, 1962.

Franz Dworak was buried in the Hietzingen cemetery after his death .
