Franz Feigel

Franz Jakob Feigel (born April 22, 1816 in Bensheim ; † November 5, 1858 there ) was a Hessian wine merchant and politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Franz Feigel was the son of the innkeeper, master butcher and wine merchant Georg Adam Feigel (1780–1823) and his wife Anna Maria, née Meissel (1784–1861). Feigel, who was a Catholic, was a wine merchant in Bensheim and on June 15, 1841 married Clara, née Hofrath (1817-1892).

From 1849 to 1856 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Starkenburg 7 / Wald-Michelbach . He was also a city councilor in Bensheim. He took conservative positions.
