August Heidenreich

August Heidenreich (born July 8, 1846 in Affolterbach , † October 4, 1913 in Darmstadt ) was a German estate administrator and politician of the National Liberal Party .

Life

Heidenreich, who belonged to the Catholic denomination, was the son of the farmer and member of the state parliament Leander Heidenreich and his wife Friederike Henrike. On August 23, 1881, in Hiltersklingen , he married Magdalena Elisabetha Wilhelmine, the daughter of the Landtag member Wilhelm von Wedekind .

Heidenreich studied chemistry and economics in Giessen , Halle and Heidelberg . During his studies he became a member of the Germania Gießen fraternity in the winter semester of 1866/67 . In 1877 he was promoted to Dr. phil. PhD . Heidenreich did an agricultural traineeship from 1865 to 1866 and was estate manager in Hiltersklingen until 1887. Then he worked for the Hessian agricultural cooperatives.

politics

From 1893 to 1913 he was a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse for the constituency Starkenburg 4 / Waldmichelbach . After his death, Rudolf Wünzer was his successor in the state parliament. Heidenreich also belonged to the district council of the Bensheim district and the provincial parliament of the Starkenburg province .
