Georg Bickel (politician)

Johann Georg Bickel (born March 22, 1868 in Affolterbach ; † February 16, 1940 ibid) was a Hessian politician ( NLP ) and former member of the 2nd Chamber of the Land estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Georg Bickel was the son of the community computer and farmer Johann Peter Bickel and his wife Elisabeth Katharina nee Röth. He married his wife Anna, née Helfrich, on May 12, 1898 in Affolterbach. Like his father, Georg Bickel also worked as a community computer and farmer.

politics

In the 36th electoral term (1918) Georg Bickel was a member of the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse. From July 9, 1918, he represented Rudolf Wünzer in the constituency of Starkenburg 4 / Wald-Michelbach .
