Franz Fippinger

Franz Fippinger (born October 13, 1932 in Kaiserslautern ; † October 28, 2013 ) was a German psychologist and educator .

Life

Fippinger studied teaching from 1953 to 1955 and made his diploma in psychology in 1961. In 1964 he was with a work about the subject areas of psychology , pedagogy and psychopathology at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz for Dr. phil. PhD . In the winter semester 1956/57 he became a member of the VKDSt Hasso-Rhenania Mainz in the Cartell Association (CV) .

In 1969, Franz Fippinger was offered a professorship in psychology at the Rhineland-Palatinate University of Education, which later became the University of Koblenz-Landau . From 1972 to 1988 he was its President, from 1992 to 1996 Dean of the Department of Psychology. He was Vice President of the West German Rectors 'Conference (WRK) / University Rectors' Conference ( HRK) from 1976 to 1978 and 1983 to 1987.

Fippinger was particularly involved in youth media protection and educational advice as well as preventive youth protection. Fippinger was chairman of the "Federal Association for Youth Protection Action" and honorary chairman of the "Federal Association for Child and Youth Protection". From 1978 to 1985 he was a member of the “Permanent Commission for Study Reform” and from 1991 to 1993 chairman of the “Teacher Training Commission 2000”.

He was an examiner at the Voluntary Self-Control of the Film Industry (FSK) and Voluntary Self-Control Television (FSF) .

He was a volunteer CDU local politician in the Landau-Land community and in the Südliche Weinstrasse district .
