Franz Weber (politician, 1835)

Franz Seraph Weber (born June 27, 1835 in Landsberg am Lech ; † January 31, 1904 there ) was a brewery owner and member of the German Reichstag ( German Center Party ).

Life

Weber attended elementary school and later received lessons in Latin and German. He learned brewery, butchery and agriculture in Landsberg. 1858 took over the parental estate because of the death of his father. From 1860 to 1881 he was a member of the Landsberg community college, including three years as a board member. From 1881 he was a member of the magistrate's college and advisor to the municipal building administration. Between 1876 and 1887 he was a representative of large estates in the Upper Bavarian District Administrator (Provincial Landtag).

From 1887 until his death he was a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Deputies and from 1887 to 1898 of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Upper Bavaria 6 ( Weilheim , Werdenfels , Bruck , Landsberg , Schongau ) and the German Center Party.
