It was dissolved in 1802 in the course of secularization and in the same year assigned to the barefoot Carmelites from Munich as a central monastery (so-called extinction monastery ) until 1817 .

From 1817 to 1828 the monastery was rented to private owners until it was sold in 1828.

In 1844, at the request of the Elisabethinen , the Brothers of Mercy set up a hospital in the monastery buildings , the so-called men's hospital.

The monastery is a listed building (number: D-2-63-000-187).
