The Frauenwand is a mountain with a 2541 m above sea level. A. high summit in the Zillertal Alps in the Austrian state of Tyrol . It is a panoramic mountain that allows an all-round view of the Tyrolean surroundings.

Despite its relatively low height, the Frauenwand has a rather steep, striking summit structure, so that it can be seen very clearly from both the Zillertal and the Schmirntal . The summit cross is located on the northeastern Tuxertal-side spur, the White Wall ( 2518 m above sea level ).
Bases and routes
The Frauenwand forms the highest point of the Kaserer Höhenweg , which is a good hiking trail from the Tuxerjochhaus ( 2313 m above sea level ) over the Frauenwand to the Kaserer Schartl and then through the Kaserer Winkel to Kasern and Schmirn . From Tux it goes over the Sommerbergalm directly through the cirque below to the summit.
It is a 10-minute detour to the White Wall.
