Fred Hilke

Fred Hilke (born August 15, 1985 in Mühlacker , Baden-Württemberg ) is a German presenter who moderates events, television programs and various web video formats. He is also active as an improvisation comedian a . a. with the Hamburg theater sports team Das Elbe vom Ei .

Life

Hilke was already on stage regularly during his school days. He founded the heavy metal band Gracecall , with whom he released a demo in 2005 as a singer and bassist . After graduating from high school in 2006 at Hilda-Gymnasium Pforzheim , he completed a traineeship at the radio station Die Neue 107.7 , where he was employed as a presenter of the morning show together with Martin Pfeffer . The show was entitled The Breakfast Club with Pepper and Fred . Hilke was awarded the media prize of the State Institute for Communication Baden-Württemberg twice in a row (2009 in the entertainment category and 2010 in the music promotion category).

From 2010 he studied at the Mittweida University of Applied Sciences in the media faculty. At the same time he worked a. a. for the TV One Plus ( ARD Digital ) and the Science - TV magazine world of wonders on RTL II . In 2012, while still a student, Hilke moderated the video blog of the Hamburg Film Festival , for which he a. a. Interviewed actor Jürgen Vogel ; and in 2013 presented a total of 56 episodes of the daily entertainment show Clipmasters for Sport1 . In 2014, he moderated the documentary Words Are Actions by director Kristina Förtsch .

Fred Hilke now mainly works as a moderator for events and trade fairs in the corporate environment . In 2015 he moderated the international BIMCO award.

Since 2013 Hilke has been a member of the improvisational comedy group Das Elbe vom Ei , which is part of the 1st Improliga Hamburg as a theater sports team and performs regularly in German-speaking countries .

Since June 2016 he has been running the podcast Kack & Sachgeschichten together with Richard Ohme and Tobias Aengenheyster.

Fred Hilke lives in Hamburg .
