The Freidorfer Hachetal is a former nature reserve in the Lower Saxon town of Bassum and the municipality of Sudwalde in the combined municipality of Schwaförden in the district of Diepholz .
The former nature reserve with the registration number NSG HA 175 was 78 hectares in size. For the most part, it was part of the FFH area “Hachetal”. The area has been under nature protection since August 3, 1995. In November 2018, the newly designated nature reserve " Hachetal and Freidorfer Hachetal " opened up. The responsible lower nature conservation authority was the district of Diepholz.
The former nature reserve is located immediately south of Neubruchhausen . It placed a section of the Hache and the Hallstedter Beeke as well as the adjacent valley meadows and slope areas under protection. Here the river sections with their intended reeds , sedge , Hochstaudenfluren and marshes , as well as breaking and deciduous forests can develop naturally.
Parts of the former nature reserve are used for forestry and agriculture. Agricultural use also includes arable farming on some areas .
