Friedel Tietze , later Friedel Kinzel-Titze (* after 1908 , † after 1953 ) was a German luge athlete .

Friedel Tietze was the younger sister of Martin Tietze , the most successful luge rider of the 1930s. She was hardly inferior to her brother and became European women's champion in 1938 and 1939. From 1937 to 1940 she was German champion four times in a row. After the Second World War she had to leave her home in Brückenberg in the Giant Mountains and settled in the GDR . There she started for SV Eintracht Bautzen and in 1952 - now married - won the title at the GDR championships under the name Friedel Kienzel-Tietze. In 1953 she was third again in the single-seaters and in the competition for women's doubles.
