Friedrich Bloemer

Friedrich Bloemer (born October 28, 1807 in Werden an der Ruhr , † August 21, 1872 in Berlin ) was a German lawyer and politician.

education and profession

After attending high school in Cologne, Bloemer studied law in Bonn . Between 1835 and 1846 he was an attorney at the Cologne Regional Court and at the Rhenish Court of Appeal. Between 1847 and 1849 he was a district judge in Aachen . In 1849 Bloemer was appointed Privy Councilor of Justice. In 1851 he became a secret appellate judge and in 1856 senior tribunal advisor.

politics

During the revolution of 1848/49 he was a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly for the constituency of Monschau . He did not belong to any political group. He was also a deputy member of the Prussian National Assembly . In 1849 he was a member of the second chamber of the Prussian state parliament . There he belonged to the right. Thereafter Bloemer belonged to the first chamber until 1852. Bloemer was a board member of the Erfurt Union until 1850 , later of the provisional prince's college. Between 1852 and 1860 he was again a member of the second chamber or, after the renaming, a member of the Prussian House of Representatives . In this he did not belong to any parliamentary group. From 1861 Bloemer was a member of the Prussian manor house . In 1867 he was a member of the constituent Reichstag of the North German Confederation as a member of the constituent Reichstag of the North German Confederation as a member of the constituency of Aachen 2 , but was close to the old liberals . From 1867 to 1870 he represented the constituency of Düsseldorf 4 (city and district of Düsseldorf) in the Reichstag of the North German Confederation.
