Ernst von Frese

Ernst von Frese , also: Friedrich Ernst von Frese ; full name Friedrich Christian Ernst von Frese (* 12. December 1802 in Hinte , † 18th April 1875 in Loppersum ), was a royal hannoverischer Major General and last adjutant of the Crown Prince Georg . He was the master of Gut Loppersum, which was renamed the Fresenhaus manor in 1860 .

Life

Ernst von Frese was born during the so-called " French era " as the son of Carl-Friedrich Victor von Frese (* December 1, 1773; † March 3, 1837) and his wife Henriette Friederike Magdalene le Veaux (* December 23, 1776; † 25. July 1858).

Frese was on May 26, 1821 Second Lieutenant of the artillery of the Hanoverian Army and on January 11, 1831 Premier Lieutenant . In 1839 he became an adjutant to Crown Prince Georg . In this capacity he was promoted to captain on January 16, 1843 . In 1850 he was relieved of his position as adjutant, and on January 22, 1854 he was put up for disposal with the character of a major . Nevertheless, he was on May 14, 1859 Lt. Col. , on May 27, 1862 Colonel and even on August 4, 1863 Major General. He died in Loppersum on April 18, 1875.

Freses heir was his nephew August Mauritz Victor von Frese (* April 12, 1850, † February 28, 1920), later President of the Chamber of Agriculture.

Ernst Frese married Baron Marie Klaudine von dem Bussche -Ippenburg on June 8, 1839 (* October 2, 1817, † November 12, 1902). His wife was a sponsor of the children's rest home on Norderney .
