Friedrich Kramer (politician)
Friedrich Kramer (called Fritz Kramer *, 5. February 1938 in Hindenburg , Upper Silesia ) is a German politician of the CDU and was for 33 years District of district Fulda .
Life
Kramer studied law at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz and, after passing his state examination, was a court assessor and later a public prosecutor at the Wiesbaden district court. In 1970 he was part of Alfred Dregger's campaign team and was elected in the state elections , in which the CDU increased its share of the vote by 13%, as a member of the 7th electoral term of the Hessian state parliament . In May 1973 he was elected by the district council as the first district administrator in the district of Fulda after the regional reform in the state of Hesse. He therefore left the state parliament prematurely on June 22, 1973.
Fritz Kramer was CDU district and district chairman for several decades, a member of the Presidium of the Hessian CDU and parliamentary group chairman in the association assembly of the State Welfare Association of Hesse .
In his function as district administrator, Kramer was deputy or chairman of the supervisory board of the Bad Salzschlirf corporation . At the beginning of 2001 this had to file for bankruptcy under his chairmanship.
In February 2006, after 33 years, Kramer resigned as district administrator of the Fulda district when he reached the legal age limit of 68 years.
The art and literature lover is married and has two daughters.
After the end of his full-time political activity, Kramer works as a criminal defense lawyer.
Kramer is honorary chairman of both the Fulda District Association and the Eastern Hesse District Association of the CDU. In January 2018, the CDU Hessen awarded him the Alfred Dregger Medal in gold as the highest award it has bestowed. In his laudation, Volker Bouffier praised him as one of the men and women who laid the foundation for the success of the CDU in Hesse. His always pointed opinion, which he represented independently of the current zeitgeist, was always respected by his political opponents.
