Max Fliedner

Max Friedrich Martin Georg Fliedner (born November 10, 1843 in Hanau , † March 22, 1925 in Kassel ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Fliedner was the son of the Hanau high school teacher Conrad Fliedner. On October 15, 1878, he married Caroline Freyschmidt (born November 1, 1858), the daughter of the Kassel court book dealer August Freyschmidt .

Fliedner attended the secondary school in Hanau and passed the Abitur at the Electoral High School in Hanau on March 12, 1863. He studied law at the University of Marburg and passed the first state examination in Kassel on April 22, 1868 with the grade good. From May 4, 1868, he was a trainee court clerk in Hanau and Kassel. In January 1874 he passed the second state examination (“sufficient”) in Berlin. He was released from military service at first, but served as a volunteer in the 2nd Hessian Infantry Regiment No. 82 in the Franco-German War . He retired from service with the rank of Vice Sergeant .

From February 4, 1874 he was a court assessor before he switched to administration on November 15, 1876 and became a government assessor in the Münster government. On May 24, 1877, he was transferred to the Stralsund government and on July 14, 1877 to the Kassel government. On January 31, 1879, he was entrusted with the administration of the Hünfeld district office, and on November 3, 1879, he was finally appointed district administrator in the Hünfeld district . On March 13, 1882, he was transferred to the Schmalkalden district as district administrator . From August 4, 1891, he was provisional and from June 20, 1892, he was definitely district administrator in the Fulda district . In December 1894 he was transferred to the rank of senior government councilor as conductor of the department for church and school matters in the Kassel government. In 1909 he was retired.
