Friedrich Matthäi (politician)

Friedrich Matthäi (born September 26, 1822 in Wallertheim ; † November 6, 1891 ibid) was a Hessian mill owner and politician ( NLP ) and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Friedrich Matthäi was the son of master miller Leonhard Matthäi and his wife Eva, née Rupprecht. Matthäi, who was Protestant, owned a mill in Wallertheim and married Katharina nee Scheuermann.

From 1881 to 1891 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Rheinhessen 5 / Wörrstadt .
