Wilhelm Jung (politician, 1795)

Johann Wilhelm Jung (born January 30, 1795 - † March 22, 1865 in Mainz ) was a Hessian judge and politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Wilhelm Jung was the son of Franz Wilhelm Jung (1767–1833) and his wife Maria Jacoba, née Perponcher-Sedlnitzky. Jung married Susanna Elisabetha, born Reiche, on October 30, 1823 in Mainz.

Jung studied law and was awarded a Dr. jur. PhD. Then he was a trainee at the Mainz District Court . In 1831 he became attorney general at the Mainz Higher Court, where he became a member and councilor in 1836 and a secret high judge in 1857.

From 1841 to 1847 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Rheinhessen 4 / Wörrstadt .
