Conrad Grode

Johann Conrad Grode (born June 19, 1766 in Gabsheim ; † October 31, 1832 ibid) was a Hessian landowner and politician and member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Conrad Grode was the son of the landowner Johann Friedrich Grode and his wife Margaretha Elisabethe, née Becker. Grode, who was a Catholic, was a landowner in Gabsheim and married Maria Josepha nee Karl. Their sons Johann Grode and Johann Adolph Grode also became members of the state parliament.

From 1823 to 1830 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Rheinhessen 4 / Wörrstadt . He was mayor of Gabsheim from 1793 to 1832.
