Friedrich Oelze

Friedrich Oelze (born September 11, 1873 in Blankenberg / Saale , † October 10, 1954 in Bernburg / Saale ) was a German educator and politician of the ( DNVP ).

Life

After attending grammar school in Stendal , Oelze studied theology and philosophy at the universities in Tübingen , Berlin and Halle . During his studies in 1896 he became a member of the Salingia Halle fraternity . From 1898 to 1900 he was a candidate for the pedagogy for the monastery of Our Dear Women in Magdeburg , worked from 1900 to 1901 as a provisional seminar teacher in Delitzsch and from 1901 to 1904 as a seminary teacher in Verden an der Aller . From 1904 to 1907 he worked as a senior teacher and inspector at the orphanage and school institution in Bunzlau and from 1907 to 1911 as seminar director in Steinau an der Oder . In 1912 he became the seminar director and director of the orphanage and school in Bunzlau. There he was promoted to senior studies director in 1921. He was also a captain of the Landwehr a. D.

From 1915 to 1918 Oelze was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the constituency administrative district Liegnitz 4 ( Bunzlau - Löwenberg ). After the November Revolution, he joined the DNVP. From 1919 to 1921 he was a member of the Prussian State Constitutional Assembly . He was then elected as a member of the Prussian state parliament, to which he belonged until 1933, from 1932 to 1933 as deputy chairman of the DNVP parliamentary group.
