Friedrich Walz (born June 18, 1794 in Stuttgart ; † October 9, 1842 there ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Born as the son of a pharmacist and uncle of Franz von Weber and Heinrich von Weber , Walz trained as a clerk in Markgröningen and became an official substitute in Weinsberg and Köngen . He studied law in Tübingen , Heidelberg , Göttingen and Berlin . During his studies he became a member of the Corps Württembergia Tübingen in 1816 and was one of the founders of the old Heidelberg fraternity in 1817 . He was promoted to Dr. iur. PhD , was court clerk in Ellwangen and Tübingen before legal consultant and lawyer and member of the citizens' committee and the city council was in Stuttgart. From 1825 to 1838 he was a member of the second chamber of the Württemberg state parliament .

His grave is in the Hoppenlaufriedhof in Stuttgart.
