Friedrich Wilhelm von Hacke (Colonel)

Friedrich Wilhelm von Hacke (* 1717 in Strelitz ; after 1780) was a Prussian colonel and chief of Grenadier Battalion No. 4 .

Life

In 1742 Hacke came to the Fusilier Regiment ("Pfuhl") No. 46 and as early as 1742 second lieutenant . During the Second Silesian War he fought in the Battle of Kesselsdorf and in the Seven Years' War near Prague , Breslau , Leuthen and Kunersdorf . He also fought in the sieges of Prague, Breslau and Schweidnitz . In the battle of Landeshut he was wounded and taken prisoner in Austria. During the war he became a captain on December 11, 1757 .

In June 1767 he rose to major, on July 4, 1775 he became a lieutenant colonel and in 1779 a colonel. On June 24, 1779, he was appointed chief of Grenadier Battalion No. 4. There he received in 1780 his parting with inn . He is said to have been in Mecklenburg service before his death .
