Friedrich Ernst von Langen

Friedrich Ernst Philipp Freiherr von Langen-Keffenbrinck (born January 21, 1860 in the Üselitz manor ; † May 14, 1935 in Berlin ) was a German administrative lawyer, manor owner and member of the Reichstag in Western Pomerania.

Life

Langen attended the Stralsund grammar school and the knight academy (Brandenburg an der Havel) . After graduating from high school, he studied law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität and the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin . He became a corps bow bearer of Borussia Bonn (1881) and Borussia Berlin (1886). After that he was a trainee lawyer at the district court of Demmin and the district court of Berlin II and then until 1890 with the government in Stralsund . In 1885 he was promoted to Dr. iur. PhD . After retiring from civil service, he was the owner of a manor in Groß Lüdershagen . A second estate was Griebenow Castle , where it was buried. He undertook major trips through Egypt, Asia Minor and East Africa. He was married to Elisabeth born in 1895 . Dietmar . The marriage resulted in two sons.

As a member of the German Conservative Party , he represented the constituency of Stralsund 1 ( Rügen district , Stralsund , Franzburg district ) in the German Reichstag from 1893 to 1903 .
