Fritz Mollwitz (civil Frederick August Mollwitz ; born June 16, 1890 in Coburg ; † October 3, 1967 in Bradenton ) was a German baseball player in the United States .

He played the position of first baseman . Mollwitz was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 1913 . He previously played in the amateur league for the Wisconsin-Illinois League . After six years, his professional career in US baseball came to an end.

He is buried in Brookfield , Wisconsin .
