Fritz Thiele (entrepreneur)
Fritz Thiele (born April 19, 1903 in Bremen ; † August 15, 1981 in Bremen) was a German entrepreneur in vehicle construction.
biography
Thiele was the son of the Bremen entrepreneur Wilhelm Thiele. After finishing school, Fritz Thiele learned the job of a wheelwright . He then worked in various car manufacturing companies in Germany. In 1923 he joined his father's company, which u. a. Carriage wagons , bodies and trailers were produced, as well as saddlery and paint shop . In 1927 he passed the master's examination. In 1936 his father took him on as a partner. The factory, which was destroyed in the Second World War, was rebuilt. In 1953 Thiele was the sole owner. In 1972 he founded the Wilhelm Thiele vehicle factory in Bremerhaven .
From 1952 to 1979, Thiele was for many years Vice President of the Bremen Chamber of Crafts . He was chairman or assessor of various examination boards for journeyman or master craftsman exams. He was on the board of the Allgemeine Ortskrankenkasse Bremen / Bremerhaven and the state insurance company Oldenburg-Bremen . He was also on the administrative board of Sparkasse Bremen and a member of the Bremen Chamber of Commerce.
