Frozen Skies
Frozen Skies (born on October 29, 1990 in Cuxhaven as Christian Roggow ) is a German DJ and music producer from Bremen .
Career
Christian Roggow took guitar and piano lessons at the age of nine.
In 2000 he actively started producing music. By 2009, there were productions for free download on the then first German music portal Mp3.de . There he met the German rapper, music producer and DJ Jay Outback, with whom he switched to Ill Fish Recordings in the same year . Until Ill Fish Recordings was dissolved, Frozen Skies worked as a remixer for artists such as Damon Paul , Seaside Clubbers and Jay Outback under the pseudonym “Zelebra” . The productions can be assigned to the style of house or electro .
Since 2012 he has been producing under the pseudonym "Frozen Skies" in the field of trance as an artist for Sounds United Records . He succeeded in entering the selection of the best remixes in several contests by Beatport and Indaba Music for the American music producer Steve Aoki . He is now internationally active for artists such as ReOrder, HeavensDJ , Tosch and Ole Sander . His productions are available on several CD samplers, in retail stores and on DVD.
In 2013 he released the hit "Hymn" by Barclay James Harvest , together with the German singer Mark Engels in a new version. In the same year he appeared on the sampler "Trance - The Vocal Session 2014" and "Disco House 2014" by ZYX Music .
In December 2013 the album “Distant Memories” was released as a limited edition on CD and was given away to fans.
On June 16, 2014 a remix of Frozen Skies for the single "Beyond Horizons" by ReOrder was released via Silent Shore Records under Levitated Music . The publication received worldwide support, including from Aly & Fila , Richard Durand, Paul Oakenfold , Markus Schulz , Alex MORPH , Talla 2XLC , MIKE, Thomas Datt & Dan Stone.
Since January 9th, 2015 he has been resident DJ for the British radio station 1Mix Radio with the program “The Masters Of Trance”.
Others
On July 24, 2013 he founded the record label " Arcadia Moon Records " together with Dieter Stemmer as an offshoot of Sounds United Records in the field of trance. Since then there have been several publications, including by Physical Phase, Dan Norvan, Denis Weisz and Tensile Force. On December 17, 2015, the separation of the two labels became known. The label has existed since then as Evolve Records under his direction. In addition to his work as a music producer, Frozen Skies takes care of the promotion of up-and-coming artists.
