Fulvia Stevenin (born October 18, 1965 in Gressoney-Saint-Jean ) is a former Italian ski racer who specialized in the giant slalom and slalom disciplines.

biography

Her greatest success was the victory in slalom at the Junior World Championship in 1983 in Sestriere . The day before, she had finished sixth in the giant slalom. Stevenin represented her country at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo , but was eliminated there in both Salom and Giant Slalom. In giant slalom, she also started twice at world championships : in 1985 she was eliminated in the second round and in 1987 she finished 28th.

In the World Cup from December 1982 to December 1986, Stevenin was placed in the points four times, i.e. among the fastest 15. Her best results were two twelfth places in the slalom of Piancavallo on December 17th, 1982 and in the giant slalom of Santa Caterina Valfurva on December 17th 1984. In the European Cup she reached third place in the giant slalom classification in the 1985/86 season . In 1983, 1985 and 1987 she became Italian champion in giant slalom; there are also a second and two third places in national championships.
