The 2001/2002 season of the GFA League First Division of the Gambian Football Championship took place between January 9, 2002 and June 2002. Ten teams played for the title, which Wallidan Banjul won for the 12th time. The bottom of the table Starlight Gunners and Latdior Football Club had to relegate .
