Gabriele Werner

Gabriele Werner (born April 1, 1958 in Bassum ) is a German art historian .

Career

Werner studied art history, literature , German philology and philosophy . She did her doctorate in 1995 at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main on the subject of "Better life than these prisms without depth". Mathematics in Surrealism . Werner held lectureships at the University of Fine Arts Braunschweig and the Humboldt University in Berlin and was appointed professor at the Institute for Art Studies , Art Education and Art Education at the University of Applied Arts Vienna from 2003 to 2008 .
