Act
Gabriele Wolff is the author of detective novels , stories and radio plays . She has also published about Karl May and dealt with the works of Arno Schmidt and Hans Wollschläger . She maintains a blog in which she expertly analyzes wrong decisions by the judiciary. With him she gained attention in the Mollath case .
In March 2018, the weekly newspaper Die Zeit reported that Gabriele Gordon, as heiress to Hans Wollschläger , had legally prevented the Suhrkamp Verlag from editing his Ulysses translation . A group of translators and literary scholars had worked on the text for over ten years. The publisher had failed to get her permission for the new edition. In the end it was agreed that 200 copies of the work that had already been produced could be given for scientific purposes. Beyond that, however, it may not be put on the market. After a two-year break, the blog on this topic was continued.
Awards
In 2004 she was awarded the Friedrich Glauser Prize by Syndikat , an association for the promotion of German-language crime literature, for her detective novel The Third Room .
