Gaby Diana Ahrens (born March 15, 1981 in Windhoek , South West Africa ) is a Namibian sport shooter in the trap .

Ahrens comes from a shooting enthusiast family, her father Hasso Ahrens , a former soccer player, is also a marksman and Namibian national coach. Her brother Sven Ahrens is also a successful marksman.

The 1.70 meter tall right-handed woman is married to Gielie van Wyk and belongs to the Namibia Olympic Shotgun Range in Windhoek at club level . She has been participating in international tournaments since 2003 and is a member of the Namibia Shooting Union . Gaby Ahrens took part in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and qualified for the 2012 Olympic Games in London in May 2011 . There she finished 22nd and last place in the competition with 59 rings. By winning the African Championship again in 2015, Ahrens was qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics.

In addition, she won numerous titles at Namibian championships and, among others, at the 2011 African championships .

Ahrens was one of the five members of the normalization committee of the Namibia Football Association appointed by the world football association FIFA from February 2019 to mid-2020 .
