Garibaldi is a city with 34,684 (2018 estimate) inhabitants in the state of Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil . It is located about 105 kilometers north of Porto Alegre . Neighboring are the places Bento Gonçalves , Farroupilha , Carlos Barbosa , Boa Vista do Sul , Coronel Pilar and Santa Tereza . Garibaldi was originally part of the Bento Gonçalves municipality.
