Gary Jones (born January 4, 1958 in Swansea , Wales , United Kingdom ) is an actor of Welsh descent.

Life

Jones became more famous for his role as Sgt. Walter Harriman in the television series Stargate - Kommando SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis and the two sequels Stargate: The Ark of Truth - The Source of Truth and Stargate: Continuum .
He has also appeared on series such as Sliders , Outer Limits - The Unknown Dimension , Andromeda and Dead Like Me - As good as dead .

In 1986, he moved to Vancouver ( Canada ). Jones is married with three children.

Prior to Stargate , Gary Jones was a member of the mission improvable improvisation group and worked for a newspaper in Burlington, Ontario . Alongside Amanda Tapping, Gary Jones is one of the two actors who starred in all 10 seasons of Stargate SG-1 and all five seasons of Stargate Atlantis . He is also one of three actors alongside Amanda Tapping and Martin Christopher who starred in the series finals of both series.
He is not only known for his work as a film / television and theater actor, but also as a host of events.
