Gaston Hains (born September 10, 1921 in Drummondville , Québec , Canada , † July 5, 1986 in Dupuy ) was a Canadian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Amos .

Life

Gaston Hains received on 15 June 1946 the auxiliary bishop in Montreal , Joseph Conrad Chaumont , the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On August 28, 1964, Pope Paul VI appointed him . the titular bishop of Belesasa and auxiliary bishop in Saint-Hyacinthe . The Apostolic Delegate in Canada, Archbishop Sergio Pignedoli , donated him episcopal ordination on October 18 of the same year ; Co - consecrators were the auxiliary bishop in Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière , Louis Joseph Jean Marie Fortier , and the bishop of Saint-Hyacinthe, Arthur Douville .
