Venues of the Gauliga Mecklenburg 1942/43

The Gauliga Mecklenburg 1942/43 was the first season of the Gauliga Mecklenburg of the German Football Association . Due to the war, the Gauliga Nordmark was divided into the three regional Gauligen Hamburg , Mecklenburg and Schleswig-Holstein at the end of the 1941/42 season . The Gauliga Mecklenburg was played in a group of ten teams this season, with SG Neu Kaliss already withdrawing before the season, and WSG Schwerin and VfL Güstrow during the season, so that seven teams continuously participated in the league game. TSG Rostock secured the championship and thus qualified for the German soccer championship 1942/43 , in which the Rostockers were eliminated in the qualifying round after a 4-0 defeat in the first leg and a 1-1 in the second leg against Holstein Kiel .
