The Gauliga Sachsen 1940/41 was the eighth season of the Gauliga Sachsen in football. Dresdner SC secured the championship with an eleven point lead over the Planitzer SC team . The Dresdner SC qualified for the final round of the German championship and took 3rd place. The relegation ranks were occupied by BC Hartha , Sportfreunde Dresden , SC Wacker Leipzig and VfB Glauchau . The Döbelner SC and Guts Muts Dresden rose from the district leagues .
