The Gauliga Westmark 1942/43 was the second season of the Gauliga Westmark in football. FV Saarbrücken became champions after last year's champions 1. FC Kaiserslautern had several top performers drafted into the Wehrmacht over the course of the season and the Betzenberg team ultimately only finished fifth. In the final round of the German championship , the FVS worked its way through to the finals and became runner-up. The two promoted from Altenkessel and Oppau could not prove themselves in the top division. TSG Merlenbach and KSG Pioniere / VfL Speyer were newcomers to the 1943/44 season .
