Gaupmannsgraben is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Ramsau in the Lilienfeld district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 50 building areas with 26,019 m² and 34 gardens on 56,727 m² in the cadastral community Gaupmannsgraben , in 1989/1990 there were 52 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 116 and in 2009/2010 there were 61 buildings on 99 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 94 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 747 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 56 hectares and 749 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 52 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 728 hectares. The average soil climate number of Gaupmannsgraben is 25.9 (as of 2010).
