Schneidbach is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Ramsau in Lower Austria .
The scattered settlement extends from Ramsau to the Kruckensattel and consists of numerous individual layers . The village is traversed by the Schneidbach . On January 1, 2020, 53 people lived in Schneidbach.
Settlement development
At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were 24 building areas with 26,874 m² and 40 gardens on 90,039 m² in the cadastral community , in 1989/1990 there were 25 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 79 and in 2009/2010 there were 42 buildings on 65 building areas.
Land use
The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 269 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 450 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 235 hectares and 485 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 208 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 490 hectares. The average soil climate of Schneidbach is 23.3 (as of 2010).
